Organized by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Philippines and held at The Manila Hotel on August 27, the Quills spotlight programs that marry creativity with measurable impact.
ALPAS struck gold with “The Struggle Is Real: Crisis Communications Training,” a corporate social responsibility initiative designed to help public servants and youth leaders confront disinformation. The program not only earned an Excellence Award but also clinched a Top Division Award under Communication Training and Education.
The firm’s work also earned Merit Awards in three other categories. Its TALAKAYAN Series—which sought to simplify political discourse ahead of the 2025 midterm elections—was recognized under Corporate Writing. For client Sanofi Vaccines Philippines, ALPAS won in Audio/Visual Communication for the Health Connect Forum, a campaign that tackled vaccine misinformation with the backing of the Philippine Medical Association and the Philippine Foundation for Vaccination. Meanwhile, its digital campaign “Batang Bakunado, Todong Protektado!” with the Department of Health, USAID, and Johns Hopkins received a Merit Award in Social Media Programs for addressing Covid-19 vaccination concerns among parents.
“To be recognized on our first entry at the Philippine Quill Awards is incredibly meaningful,” said ALPAS co-founder and CEO Marzie Marzan. “These awards are a recognition of the outcomes we have achieved that move society and the entire nation forward.”
Co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer Carlo Escalada said that the victories reflected ALPAS’ commitment to producing communications that “uplift Filipinos and support the country’s development.”
